The Fi Europe trade fair took place in Frankfurt from 19 to 21 November 2024 - an event that no company in the food industry could afford to miss. For us, it was a great opportunity to experience the food industry up close and to find out about new products. At stand 4.1H2, we presented our new snack concept Smokewood Heritage and our chilled ingredients brand Bresc. It was an exciting exchange that we really enjoyed.

Smoke has been a fundamental part of cooking for centuries, and its appeal is stronger than ever. Today, smoke flavour is a top trend in the snack market, with barbecue ranking as the third most popular snack flavour worldwide. Showing that we are on the edge of time – we created our new snack concept, called Smokewood Heritage. It offers a unique and innovative way to transform smoked everyday snacks into a differentiated flavour experiences.

Our product developers have created eight new snack mixes as a tribute to the European Championships of 2024. Not only the European Championship 2024, but also the comfort food trend has been taken up in our new flavours. Our snack mixes are reminiscent of familiar dishes from the participating European countries and will make you reminisce.

Snackex took place in Stockholm on 19 and 20 June 2024, and Hügli Food Industry was there again. As the leading trade fair for snacks and convenience products, we presented our new snack mixes from the Flavours of EURO 2024 concept and had a successful appearance at stand 422.

At the end of March, Hügli's staff restaurant in Steinach SG, Switzerland, was the venue for an internal snack tasting organised by Hügli Food Industry. This Hügli division specialises in the production of flavouring components for the food and snack processing industry.

Hügli received silver recognition in the "Best Product Green Award" for its outstanding organic demi ice cream presented in sustainable packaging. The Kitchen Award acknowledges Hügli's commitment to producing food sector products that stand out for their remarkable sustainability, superior quality, and practicality in everyday kitchen use.
