Sustainability in the kitchen: Hügli Bio Demi Glace honoured with silver at the "Best Product Green Award"

Hügli received silver recognition in the "Best Product Green Award" for its outstanding organic demi ice cream presented in sustainable packaging. The Kitchen Award acknowledges Hügli's commitment to producing food sector products that stand out for their remarkable sustainability, superior quality, and practicality in everyday kitchen use.

Hügli brand organic products in harmony with healthy nutrition and excellent flavour

The Hügli brand represents a diverse range of organic products that are produced in an environmentally conscious manner and whose raw materials come from organic farming. Hügli is also committed to implementing the guidelines of the German Nutrition Society (DGE) to promote healthy eating. Hügli's products are characterised by a reduced sugar, salt and fat content in accordance with these guidelines. The silver medal-winning organic demi-glace brown base sauce is vegan and is ideal for classic meat dishes as well as vegetarian/vegan alternatives, making it suitable for use in a wide range of dishes.

"We are proud to have received the sustainability award. We firmly believe that companies have a responsibility to make sustainable and ethical decisions."
Sebastian Maiwald
Marketing Manager of Food Service Germany

Hügli's Gastronorm trays packaging concept for sustainable solutions in the food industry

Another aspect of sustainability at Hügli is the Gastronorm Trays (GNS) packaging concept. These sustainable containers are designed to produce less packaging waste in kitchens, which makes a real contribution to sustainability, especially in large communal catering kitchens and the catering industry, where packaging is often voluminous. The ability to reuse GNS containers therefore actively supports environmental protection in the food industry.

The silver medal at the "Best Product Green Award" proves that Hügli is focussing on sustainable innovations in the food service sector and is committed to environmental compatibility combined with the highest quality standards.
